First to Lichkov, and a border I have intended to visit for ages - the place where the new Baltic Express crosses CZ to PL. Then onwards to Głuchołazy - where Czech trains cross into PL and back into CZ again. And finally two dismantled lines at the eastern end of the PL-CZ border.

No time to really see Kolín earlier, but there were some nice buildings on the square, a retro bakery with friendly staff open from 6am on a Saturday (with a good queue just before 7am) and a stall selling plants
